Surf and/or Kitesurf Instructor for Surf Camp in Peru North Shore ASAP

We have a last minute opening and we are looking to cover the Surf Instructor and Kitesurf Instructor positions for this season! Ideally, the same person with the right qualifications can cover both positions (surfing is in the mornings and kitesurfing in the afternoons) but we are also open to having 1 Surf Instructor and 1 Kitesurf Instructor, so please send your resume anyway!

North Shore Peru is a surfer and Kitesurfers dream, with warm weather all year round, epic surfing for all levels, afternoon wind every day and stunning cuisine. This is a great opportunity if you always wanted to surf and kite in Peru, we are a small Surf House with personalized groups and focus on the guest's progression, learning and enjoyment.

The Surf Lessons / Coaching are generally done during the morning (only for specific reasons we do them in the afternoon) and Kitesurfing lessons and Wave Riding Trips in the afternoon, so it´s perfect to be able to work in the mornings and afternoons. We combine busy weeks with relaxing days with no job, looking to balance work and fun.

We are surrounded by plenty of breaks and you will be living just 100 meters from one of the best waves in the area, and 200 meters from the kitesurf beach.

You will have a lot of time to Surf, Kite, Skate (we have a private skate bowl at the Surf Camp).

Skills / certifications:

• Minimum 25 years old
• Patience, social, team player, responsible and great at managing groups and time. You will be living in the Surf Camp with our in-house Crew and guests, so we require an easy-living, polite (clean and organized) person.
• English as first or second language: 95% of our lessons are in english.
• Surf Instructor for all levels: beginners to Intermediate (working in white water and green waves). Able to work with video coaching for intermediate surfers. 
• Kitesurf Instructor for all levels: we generally have full beginners or Advance Riders who will have to take them to the Wave riding spots.  Able to work with video coaching for intermediate surfers. 
• Driving license
• Certification required (Can be ISA or other national associations for Surfing and IKO or similar for Kitesurf).

Period: 
Starting ASAP! July 2024 and minimun stay for the high season until September / October 2024 (Peru VISA allows a 6 month stay).
