RYA Powerboat Instructor

As the season approaches, we’re expanding our experienced team for 2024. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced instructor to join our large multi-activity centre. Your responsibilities will involve teaching RYA Powerboat courses. We run these on both a group and private basis. 

 

 

You’ll also assist in all sectors of our business including watersports, yacht charters, powerboat rentals and marine services. We have a large fleet of self-drive powerboats, so all staff are involved in instructing customers, maintaining the boats and offering safety advice. You'll assist aboard one of our safety/rescue boats along the coastline, monitoring our operating area for all activities.  We offer a wide range of watersports and you’ll offer instruction for rentals of paddlesports and jetskis, assist with other watersports instructors and equipment and help with customer service. You’ll also have a key input into safety procedures and staff powerboat training. 

 

 

Preferably you will have at least two years experience as a Powerboat Instructor and ideally have driven fibreglass boats (not just RIBs).

We're also looking for a range of other instructors and boaty/watersports staff.

 

 

You must hold a car driving licence and be eligible to work in the EU.
