KITESURF INSTRUCTORS NEEDED FROM OCTOBER 2018 TO APRIL 2019
Good and easy working conditions. You will be teaching in flat and shallow water on the Swan River in PERTH
You will work on an hourly employee basis, the season starts in October and finished at the end of April. You will be responsible to instruct our advanced and beginner kitesurfing students under the guidance and supervision of the Manager of SoulKite. The locations are Point Walter and Melville beach road, at Applecross, depending on the wind direction.
I.K.O Level 1 or higher Instructor certification and a working visa to work in Australia (Visa Grant, Taxe file number and current 1st aid need to be provide before starting the job). Good and fluent english is mandatory.
You must be a skilled and respectful rider at all times, both on and off the water. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, honesty, a strong work ethic and sense of responsibility towards your profession are the main attributes that we require of our staff.
Kitesurf lessons begin a 1pm daily. You are expected to show up at least 20 minutes prior to this to prepare for the course. Typically, SoulKite runs from 1pm to 7pm each day. Some days, when the wind allows it, teaching can start at 6:30 am to 11 am at Point Walter. Your school manager distributes the lessons according to both student availability and priority, and of course, the weather. Since kiteboarding is a wind dependent sport, there is no guarantee of working hours or available students for lessons.
All kiteboarding lessons will be conducted in an approved area for teaching. Point Walter, Bicton and Melville beach Road, Applecross are the 2 mains location. The instructor must have their own transportation to arrive on time for their lessons.
